Myers Family Shoot | Santa Cruz Family Photographer

Maya is part of the mother's group that I participate in, and there's something about her that's really fun and special. Whether we're laughing about stuff in the kids' music class, or meeting at the park for a play date, she's a fantastic person to hang out and chat with. I was so thrilled when she wanted me to shoot her family's portraits, and on a pretty cold day in November, we all bustled to the beach for a family shoot.

Lilliana is one of the sweetest little girl's I have ever met. She is shy, but so warm and loving once she gets to know you.

I love how beautiful Maya looks in this picture

You can tell that she is the center of their universe.

It always warms my heart when I see a couple who has a child(or children) who are still in love. Having two kids myself, I know how hard it is to keep a marriage alive and kicking, so seeing sweet gestures of love and romance just brightens my day.

Exploring her own world...

As we finished up the session and began walking towards the parking lot, I noticed this reflection in the water. Dad holding Lilli tightly, Mom holding Dad tightly. :)

Beautiful Baby Shoot | Santa Cruz Baby Photographer

I am lucky to be part of a fantastic Mother's Group, and a whole new crop of babies are joining the world and the group. I got to photograph sweet Baby Kian last Tuesday. He is such a sweet little person already. Unpredictable, adorable and chubby! :) His mama told me he normally sleeps in the afternoon but this sweet little boy was wide awake when I got there and finally fell asleep for the last forty five minutes of the session. I'd forgotten how small newborn babies are, and how cute they are! The sweet little noises they make, the way they try to lift their head, the way they blink at the bright lights of their new world.

Welcome to my blog!

I'm so excited to introduce my brand new photography blog. Here you'll find teasers from shoots, stories and info about my business. Take a look around!
