It was Friday afternoon, and I was checking the weather like a maniac. Courtney and I had scheduled our shoot for that upcoming Sunday, but now a half inch of rainfall was expected. We emailed frantically back and forth and finally decided to just do it, we would get ready and shoot on Saturday when there was only a 20% chance of rain.
Saturday came and the weather was perfect. Cool, but clear. We all met at Courtney's house and the second I saw her floral creations I knew it was going to be a fun time. It only got better as the models started arriving. Everyone was just so nice. The kind of people you'd want to hang out with on a Saturday even if you weren't shooting. :) We traipsed around downtown Santa Cruz and spent the next four hours getting some great shots of Courtney and the models.

Courtney's three gorgeous bouquets she created especially for the shoot.
These are Carley G's sick shoes. I want shoes like this...
And Courtney, the brains and beauty behind Courtney Marie Floral Designs. The only words I can think of to truly describe her are kick-ass. She is fantastic. I can't wait to collaborate with her again soon!
