I emailed Courtney after seeing her posting on craigslist where she said she was looking to collaborate with other people in the wedding industry as she prepared to launch her own floral design business. After she emailed me back, I knew we had something awesome on our hands. She was just so much FUN. Even from her emails I could tell she was going to be a hoot (sorry, always wanted to use that word!), and she is so passionate about what she is doing and her floral designs. Anyhow, from our emails, a crazy fun shoot began to evolve. Fast forward a few weeks and we have a date and locations. We have five models. We have dresses, veils and of course, Courtney's incredible creations. This is honestly a dream come true, the chance to work with Courtney and models and just have an incredible, fun filled Sunday shooting around gorgeous Santa Cruz. I will be sure to update as soon as humanly possible once the shoot is done, we have it scheduled for February 21st. If anyone is interested or free on that date, shoot me an email and if you want to come and shoot some for your own portfolio, that's fine with me. :)
Below are two of Courtney's beautiful and unique creations. She has an design aesthetic that I've never seen before. Who would have the vision (or the balls?) to create a bridesmaid bouquet out of wheat??
